Description
The Developmental Tasks for Kindergarten Readiness-II (DTKR-II) provides objective data on a child's skills and abilities as they relate to successful performance in kindergarten. It is used for screening, diagnostic-prescriptive purposes, planning remedial instructional programs, and to adapt curriculum when the child enters school.
Fifteen subtests cover the areas of oral language, visual-motor skill, cognitive knowledge, and social development.
Administration and Scoring
The DTKR-II can be individually administered in about 20-30 minutes. Raw scores are converted to standard scores. A composite quotient and factor scores are also available.
